Unplanned pregnancy at 44
For what it's worth, in this conversation:
My very good friend had an unplanned pregnancy when she was 44 years old.
She had no idea what her FSH [follicle stimulating hormone] was.
She delivered her son when she was 45 years old.
I know that doesn't necessarily resonate with some of us here.
She might not have had high FSH, and she did have other children many years previously.
Her son is 16 years younger than his closest in age sister, and she wasn't struggling with TTC [trying to conceive].
But I just wanted to share my friend's experience to show the anonymous poster's choice of analogy is not realistic.

I was 10 weeks along when I found out I was pregnant at 45. Turned 46 years old less than 2 weeks after our healthy 8 pound daughter was born; Conceived naturally, (unexpectedly to be sure!)She is 18 months old now and keeps me young! I was terrified and counted every week of pregnancy as a miracle! My midwife and the rest of the OB/GYN staff never made me feel that this was a high risk pregnancy or gave me any reason to worry but worry was what I did. Truly only issues with the pregnancy was that I had sore breasts in the beginning and heartburn. Hope you all have happy endings. God Bless!
