If it would help any - I will be just weeks away from my 48th birthday when I have this little one.

She will be my sixth baby, and only two of my other children were born in my 30's.

Everyone else was born in my 40's.

Before this one, my 2 1/2 year old daughter was born when I was 45 years old.

These last two babies were complete shockers.

I had given up and only "baby-danced" when I felt ovulation pain.

About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
Sadly we lost that precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted that there will be no more babies in our house.
