I will add my own story and I know the daughter.

The daughter was a newlywed, and was so excited to find out she was pregnant.

Her mother found out within days of the daughter that she was also pregnant.

The mother was 49 years old, and the daughter was 21 years old.

They both went on to have healthy baby boys! Thanks, Marly

by Krissi Marie McVicker

-- We had trouble conceiving and it was shocking news. When we found out that in-vitro fertilization would most likely be our only chance for success, our anxiety grew. But, with the help of my husband's amazing insurance, after three cycles, we were able to have our daughter, Ella.

And after three more cycles, our twins Logan and Mia graced us with their presence and we were truly blessed. I know that we were one of the lucky couples. Many people can't afford one IVF cycle, let alone six. And, I've never taken that for granted.

After my daughter was born, I started writing Ordinary Miracles. I wanted to share my story with others because I remember hearing success stories when I was in the midst of my struggle and it inspired me to believe that if it could happen to them, maybe, it would happen for me too.

After my twins were born, I started my blog: Stress Free Infertility. I wanted a place on the Internet where couples could go to and read about others, get solicited advice, and be inspired by other success stories; a place to ease the stress of infertility, at least a little bit.

About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
Sadly we lost that precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted that there will be no more babies in our house.

HI-I'm a 48y mother of two, 16 girl, & a son 13. I'm terrified yet excited. I started going through menopause last yr. around this time & it's very misleading. Been sick for 3-4 wks. Went to have an ultra sound in July 2012. Was told I had fibroids. So not really sure what the deal is. My kids had said a few yrs. back they wanted a lil bro or sis. Well they just might get that wish, a lil late though I might add. Today I'm planning on doing a preg. test when my hubby gets home. Not sure what I'm hoping for. He & his parents tell me I should get the fibroids taken care of. They are not me & granted they care about me but they aren't the ones having to go under the knife again. I had two c's before & not wanting to endure a third. I know of a mother who had four, yikes. I don't want to go back on the butcher block. Though @ the same time if I'm preg. I will. Only because a natural childbirth is not likely. We definitely have been using b.c. to prevent preg. but most of you know as well as I that it's not 100%. Blessings in disguise, life happens while your making plans & all those adages come to mind right now. If it's the Lords will, so be it. Good luck & God bless all of you non trad. pregnant couples & singles. Best regards,
