Please don't ever let any one tell you you're too old, not even your mum.
Don't let anyone deter you from your dream, especially since it is entirely possible, not at all unrealistic, and is brought forth by love and affection.
If she needs any more reason to change her tune, let her know that this old lady, in chronological age only, gave birth at 45 years old.
