At 47, I had a 4th child
My first child at age 34 was stillborn. Had a second at 35 and a third at 39.
Second child died at age nine, and at age 47 I had a fourth child. I'm now 55 with a 14 and a 7 year old.
I live in Northern California, so I was not -- by far -- the oldest mom for #2, or even for #3. Depending on where you wind up living, up to age 40, you'll probably be right in the swing of things among your friends.
Personally I think the complaints about energy come with #3 or #4 no matter how old you are.
