I just found out at a family reunion in June that my great grandmother had her 9th child at 52 years old.

She was actually embarrassed and hid the pregnancy by wearing big clothes, etc., as others her age were not in the same situation.

She had two children in her forties.

About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
