Grandchild as old as youngest!

Went into the doctors, thinking menopause - to only leave being corrected on that score. LOL!
She has a grandchild almost as old as her youngest.

I am 44 and just found out I am pregnant... Not so unusual.. except that this Saturday is the baby shower for my first grandchild who will be born in July. My grandchild will be older than my baby. I have told my parents, I haven't told my son yet... I don't want to overshadow the event. Any advice out there?
