The new acupuncture doctor I have been seeing told me a wonderful story about a patient of his that I wanted to share with you guys:
There was a woman who owned her own company in New York City, very successful career woman who had tried to have a baby throughout her 40's. Finally at 50 she gave up. Then she had a psychic (she visited in California) who told her that she would have a baby girl at 51 but that she needed the help of a man with a black bag who was an acupuncture doctor and whose name started with and F.
She thought that was very strange and really didn't give it much thought, until after she returned to New York City, and some time later a colleague of hers mentioned an acupuncture doctor. His name was Francis. So this woman decided to check him out. After 8 months or so of acupuncture treatments with Francis, she got pregnant for the first time in her life and had a healthy baby girl, her first and only child.
He also has treated other women over 40 who have gone on to have healthy pregnancies. His oldest was 59 years old. This woman had several other children and I believe she was Ashkenazy. There have been some studies that suggest that Ashkenazy Jewish women have longer fertility.

About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
Sadly we lost that precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted that there will be no more babies in our house.

I believe these stories though medical science limits fecundity after age 38. I have been judged incapable of conceiving with my own eggs after age 38; had a failed IVF using donor eggs, yet got pregnant twice at age 50 with my own eggs after superstimulation. Sadly, I lost both pregancies quite early. I have not given up because I believe that GOD who is wiser than the greatest fertility specialists is on my case. I urge older women who still desire the fruit of the womb to hold on to the One who created us. Miracles still happen!! I wish you all the blessings of the womb
I agree whole heartedly with the comment made by sedolad above. God can do what ever he/she wants. I am a 51 yo whose had my tubes tied since I was 25 years old.I was told by God I would have twins with my new husband 3 years ago. I was ok either way since I have 3 grown children already and he has 2 grown children. But true to God's word
I am now 11 weeks pregnant with twins! So believe in miracles because they do happen, or if you look at it from God's perspective nothing is a miracle it's just natural. Blessings to all!
