Naturally conceived, own eggs, no intervention

I've been away at a wedding and there were 2 women there with 2 year old (aged 47) and another with a 5 year old and aged 48. That is so positive!!!

Further to the 47 and 48 year olds with the children at the wedding I went to last week in the country -they were naturally conceived, own eggs, no intervention.

I know that because these women are from my brother's church, a very conservative Scottish Presbyterian church who don't allow intervention AT ALL!!

The children were second (after 11 years of trying) and 6th babies after 15 years of TTC. I feel inspired again!!

About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
Sadly we lost that precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted that there will be no more babies in our house.
