So, while you will not see many women in their 60s giving birth (although you may still see them adopting in more cases than you know, even if it is adopting their own grandchildren), women in their late 30s and into their mid-late 40s are definitely having babies.
In fact, I heard of a 52 year old woman recently in our area who gave birth to twins who, by the way, had no assistance with fertility treatments. So, while it is true that the odds decrease for natural pregnancy at later ages, it still happens, and who is to say anyone is too old, if her own body is telling her differently.

About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
Sadly we lost that precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted that there will be no more babies in our house.

With GOD nothing shall be impossible.
GOD remains the greatest physician ever. He is able to create anew, and make alive that which was dead. In the bible, we are told about the deadness of Sarah's womb, yet GOD quickened that womb and it came alive with Isaac.
To all women trying to have babies, do not give up and do not deapair. GOD is able to do it. Stay hopeful
I just meet a woman last night, who told me she got pregnant at 52. Her first pregnancy was at 18.
I love the comment about with God ALL things are possible--I am 52 years old; raised two sons, one daughter who are all adults, have one grandchild, raising a 10 year old daughter and now I am pregnant with twin boys. God gave me names for all my children prior knowing their sexes, and it is the same for these boys. This is certainly a miracle--I have already been through menopause for about ten years now. Praise His Name, God Almighty.
