The fact is... as long as you have a period, you can get pregnant.

You can even get pregnant up to a year after your period has stopped!

I personally know someone who got a surprise blessing after her periods had stopped.

That baby is now a healthy teenager giving her mom grief LOL

About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
Sadly we lost that precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted that there will be no more babies in our house.

I know of a woman who conceived and gave birth to a healthy child at age 49... three years after her period stopped! Science is not omniscient!

I just found out I am expecting again! My last child was born when I was almost 45. I am now 49! :D
