Much to my astonishment - pregnant at 46

Much to my astonishment I found out last Friday that I am 7 1/2 weeks pregnant. I'm 46, and I'll be 47 in October. The baby is due November 21.
I'm thrilled, as this is my first pregnancy, and I didn't think I'd ever be able to get pregnant. But I'm also scared, because I've had no morning sickness, and I've read that could be a bad sign that the baby is not firmly attached in the uterus and I may miscarry.
I wondered whether you folks might know whether morning sickness might be less common in older first-time mothers like me? I have a lot of fears about this pregnancy. It is a miracle, though. There's no doubt about that.
Just being able to get pregnant at 46, that is! Please feel free to post this. It may encourage others who are trying to get pregnant.

About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
Sadly we lost that precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted that there will be no more babies in our house.

I had no morning sickness with my pregnancy at age 38. My son is healthy and growing.
Don't worry many pregnant women don't have morning sickness. My friend had a normal pregnancy she didn't have morning sickness and breast tenderness. She didn't have any symptoms in first 2 month. My other friend didn't have any morning sickness as well.
But try to avoid stress as much as you can because it is linked to miscarriage and we don't have any more options because of our age.
eat well, sleep well, don't work hard physically and mentally . in this 3 months you have to imagine you are in your vacation
