I'm the 45 year old referenced in the 04/21 pregnancy report. My tubal reversal (TR) was 11/2004 and after months of Clomid and ovulation kits... we tried IUI. It was successful.
I'm on close monitoring right now and am in my 7th week. My first Ultrasound didn't have a fetal pole in it but they say it just may have been a week early - so I'm having another Monday 05/08.
The good news was it implanted in my uterus vs. the tube. I feel great and I pray that's a good sign. My due date is Christmas 2006.

About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
Sadly we lost that precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted that there will be no more babies in our house.
