Grandmother was 50 when she conceived

Miracles happen. My father was born in 1908. My grandmother was fifty when she conceived. She was ecstatic. No one else was.
My grandfather dropped dead two years later. I think it was from shock. He had nephews who were his age.

About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
Sadly we lost that precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted that there will be no more babies in our house.

awww, wonderful news about giving birth at 50, but I must say the way you wrote your post, just made me giggle...*dropped dead two years later, think it was from shock'..aww, I'm sorry, there was a bit of humor in it...so cute!
I've been trying on and off in my early 40s, no baby has come into my arms yet...but just wondering, if a woman is consistent in her baby making without skipping any months in between, will she get pregnant sooner?
