I'm 20y, my parents 65 & 69

Catherine McDiarmid-Watt | Tuesday, March 25, 2008 | 0 comments

It's really your choice. I'm 20. I love my mom and dad, and feel they prepared me well, they are now 65 and 69.

As the child of older parents, my fear is that I will lose them soon as being raised as an only child (despite having 4 older siblings ages 35-43), because my brothers and sisters were out of the house.

I am a lot closer to my parents, and very very very attached to them

About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
Sadly we lost that precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted that there will be no more babies in our house.
