For all those wonderful women in their late 30's, early 40's, having babies -Congrats!!! I had my oldest who is 11 at 39, my second who is 4 at 46 and the baby who is 18 months at 49. I am 50 now, well 51 in a month, and I love it!!

The older you get, the more patient you are to handle children, I love being an older mom. By the way, all my children are very healthy, and I never had a complication during any of my pregnancies.

About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
Sadly we lost that precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted that there will be no more babies in our house.
