Still shaking at the sight of the 2nd pink line at 47

Hey ...I am still shaking at the sight of the second pink line... Here is some new hope for anyone like me who had given up TTC [trying to conceive] last month.

I tried Acupuncture, Clomid, every vitamin regiment on this site that I read about, all of it and then after 18 months and at the ripe old age of 47, decided I was beating my head against a wall and decided to be grateful for the kids and life I had. I lost 14 lbs and ate and exercised like I loved myself more than anything and whamo, just when I am looking at skin tight shorts and tops for the summer...BFP You couldn't wipe the grin off my face for anything...

Thanks to all of you for all the words of wisdom and information you all share between each other, it has been so helpful.

About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
Sadly we lost that precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted that there will be no more babies in our house.
