My sister-in-law, however, was 46 with her last child, and they have a wonderful, healthy, almost 5 year old!

And, to top it off.... she was never suppose to be able to have any children at all!!! She had lung cancer as a teen and with all her treatment and 'whatever' they told her she would never be able to conceive.

Her first child got written up in all the medical journals! A miracle child! Then, 11 years later... they had child #2. Then, 11 years later....they had child #3! God does amazing things!

About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
Sadly we lost that precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted that there will be no more babies in our house.
