I am finally pregnant at 44y after years of TTC

I want to give everyone a little bit of hope by telling that I am finally pregnant after years of TTC [trying to conceive]..... after three IVF [in vitro fertilization] cycles I am pregnant - only three weeks but hey - they say you can't be a little bit pregnant - you either are or you aren't.....

I am and I want you all to feel that there is hope for you too. I am 44 and my man is 41 - we are both happy even though we know anything could still happen at this stage....

About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
Sadly we lost that precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted that there will be no more babies in our house.
