She had her 1st at 41, her 2nd at 44 & twins at 50

I knew a woman years ago, who had her first at 41, her second at 44 and twins at 50! I'm sure the twins were conceived with help but still, it happens. I don't know if she ever had any miscarriages but I do know she smoked up until she got pregnant the first time.

Whenever I get discouraged, I think of her. (She used to be an editor for Time magazine and has wrote a couple of books)

About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
Sadly we lost that precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted that there will be no more babies in our house.
