I'm 9w pregnant & will turn 45 next month

Well, there's another one out there! I am 9 weeks pregnant, and will turn 45 next month. I have 2 other children, a daughter age 12 (next month, too) and a son, age 10. Baby #3 is due in early April.

I try not to read all the scary stuff. I read everything before and worried with my other ones, too. I realize this time that worrying doesn't help anything. I believe this child is a blessing (the others certainly have been), and I'm eager to meet my next blessing. - Rachel

About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
Sadly we lost that precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted that there will be no more babies in our house.
