Not unusual for over 50 grandmothers to have babies

Although the woman was in her mid-forties and TTCing [trying to conceive] and not receiving much support from doctors in the US; she said her husband who was born in Honduras was totally supportive.

He reports that women in his country have babies throughout their 40s and it is not unusual at all for over 50 grandmothers to have babies. The woman thinks it must be dietary differences.

Sadly we lost that precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted that there will be no more babies in our house.
