A 48y woman went to her doctor, pregnant

I've been working at a hospital in Detroit, and one of the therapists I work with told me this situation.

Apparently a 48 year old woman went to her doctor, complaining of not feeling good, etc. The doctor did a pregnancy test and sure enough, this woman was pregnant. She hadn't been trying, and this came as a real surprise. It sounds like this was a first child for both her and her husband.

I thought this was uplifting, so I wanted to share it with everyone.

About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
Sadly we lost that precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted that there will be no more babies in our house.
